My friend and I went for a drive to Turner Valley to find Chin Up Cafe after reading the glowing write up in the Western Wheel. What a hidden gem of an establishment. We were greeted with warm smiles even though it was almost closing time. We sat down to a delicious coffee and a scone. It was our first time there and another first time customer came in. She was only going to have a look at what the options were there for samosas platters. But the owner was so helpful and generous with her advice and description of how they are made from scratch, that the lady left so happy with her mixture of a take out large platter, and a salad option too. We commented on how super the food looked and the owner came to our table with a sample for us to try with a little dip on the side. We were overcome with the gesture. We are going to for sure be repeat customers and have already told lots of friends about the business. The space was very clean which is so important too. We had to google map it, we drove right by at first as its just off from the Main Street Of Sunset.
Very nice customer service. We asked for something slightly off the menu and she accommodated us with no problem. I'll return when I pass through again.
This place is amazing!!! My wife and I love coming here. The owner is lovely and the Indian spice latte is unbelievable. I have never had a latte like that before it's amazing. Keep up the great work
The owner let us in after closing and graciously filled our order. The iced coffees were as advertised but the butter chicken, Somosas and pecoras were exceptional. We think it might be the best butter chicken we have ever had. Afterwards despite already being a half an hour after her close time 4 more customers came in and she graciously served them. Trully someone who cares about her business and customer satisfaction.
Surprised to walk into this caf and smell warm Indian spices! Got a lovely mocha and a veg samosa to go. Wish I could've tried the butter chicken, green pea curry, pakora, or chickpea wrap or one of the massive muffins. Strongly recommend a stop here. There's a patio for outdoor seating on nice days as well.
